Google has accidently displayed a page for the Nexus 5 on the US Play Store. It shows the 16 GB Nexus 5 for the amazing price of $349. Now, I think this "accident" was just a PR move to gain some buzz. The Nexus 5 will be the successor to the Nexus 4 and the specs for such a price are outstanding.
- quad-core Snapdragon processor
- 2 gigabytes of RAM
- 5-inch screen
- 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization
- 2,300 mAh battery
Google has set a date for October 24th to make an announcement. Which will obviously be announcing the Nexus 5. I can only hope that there are no supply shortages like when the Nexus 4 was released. Many people had to wait until after the holidays to get hold of one. If there are no supply shortages, I am sure a lot of Android users will become the happy owner of the Nexus 5.
But keep checking back here as more information about the Nexus 5 comes out.
