This weekend Skyfall opened with a massive 87.8 million dollars. Which is in the 80 - 90 million range I predicted last week. This is the biggest opening for a Bond film ever, with the previous two films Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale earning $67.5 million and $40.8 million, respectively, on their opening weekend.

With a worldwide gross of $518,600,000 so far, Skyfall will likely go on to be the biggest bond film yet. And with Bond films continuing to bring in massive amounts of money and viewers, we should expect to see Bond for years to come.

Wreck-It Ralph did very well, with it's $33,056,000 weekend total. That is only a 33% decrease over last week, and with Skyfall opening, Wreck-It Ralph managed to hold on quite well.

Flight pulled in $15.1 million, bringing its total domestic gross to just about $48 million. That's almost a 40% drop from last weekends $24.9 million.

Overall, the November box office has started strong and with Breaking Dawn Part II coming next we will likely see some November records possibly broken. Red Dawn is still up in the air in my mind. I have a feeling that it will be a weak performer at the box office, but I will likely be able to make a better prediction as it's release approaches.
